I am finally back from my vacation and ready to get back into it. Traveling to Maine and the East Coast to see my family was a great way for me to rest and recharge my batteries but I am really glad to be back at the drawing board and back to work. This coming weekend, October 4th and 5th, I will be sitting down at my local comic shop and participating in the annual 24 Hour Comic Challenge for my first time. I’m both excited and nervous since I want to do a good job but I am hoping it will go fine. The promoter of the event asked for cover submissions for the anthology he will be putting together of all the attending artist’s work. Since it’s my first time and I want to make a good impression this is what I came up with (you can see larger pics at my blog, button link up on the right.)
The story I have brewing in my head for the event is OilCan Drive related and, if all goes well, it will be in continuity and I’ll be showing it off here if I can pull off the challenge. And, don’t forget, there are still three more pages coming in the current OCD story. I can’t leave the gang hanging like I did. I’ll get them out of it…or at least give them the tools to get out of it…soon enough.
Thanks again for hanging in there. We’ll get this machine up and running again soon!
